Name of Trip: 2013 Manchester, KY Family Trip - (Trip 1)

Dates: July 13-19, 2013

Purpose: To love on the people of Manchester, Kentucky and Clay County. Our team will do this by: sports camp, block parties, working at God’s Closet, taking lunch to the city and town hall employees and any other ministry opportunities that are presented to us.

Trip Cost: $30.00 per person. This will cover all meals for the week. You will need extra money for fast food on the way up and back home and other purchases you may make.

Accommodations: We will stay at the Manchester Baptist Church. You will need to bring an air mattress to sleep on. A shower trailer will be provided by the Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief as long as it is not being used in a disaster situation. If shower trailer is not available we will take showers at God’s Closet which is within walking distance of the church.

Participation: Go online to denverbaptistmission.com to sign up each family member. Look for the Manchester, Kentucky mission trip July 13-19.

Teams: the team will consist of no more than 40 members. You must pay your $30 per person to hold your place by June 23, 2013.

Departure: The church van(s) will leave promptly at 7:00am Saturday, July 13th. Please eat breakfast before arriving. We will stop for lunch and dinner at a fast food restaurant at your expense.

Return Home: We will provide breakfast at 7:00am. The vans will leave promptly at 9:00am. We will stop for lunch at a fast food restaurant at your expense.
